Port Albert Stair Access
Port Albert Stair Access - NatureTREAD™
An idyllic coastal town, Port Albert in Victoria is steeped in a rich maritime history. A picturesque and peaceful location, Port Albert attracts visitors from within Australia and abroad. Popular with fishing and boating enthusiasts, there are also areas for picnics and barbecues. Recently updated RV facilities also make Port Albert a convenient point for caravans and campers.
Our client had a design of an access stair case they wanted constructed and installed at a lake. Treadwell was engaged to collaborate on designs and supply the FRP products.
Project Challenges
- Structure could only be installed during low tide.
- The ground supporting the structure was waterlogged and soft, making for a challenging foundation.
